AeFx (pronounced AY-FEX)is the brainchild of Louisiana production power couple Trenton and Allison Thompson.  They are in charge of the event powerhouse Tech D Productions, a New Orleans-born company that specializes in top-tier DJs, lighting, and visuals, to name a few of their offerings. Boasting over 25 years in the game, Tech D is also one of the longest-running electronic music labels in Louisiana, with a huge catalog of original works, remixes, and various collaborations. 

    Getting his start in dark warehouse raves of the mid-90s, Trenton was on turntables in the South when the American electronic music scene was just a burgeoning, unregulated subculture. Taking on residencies at some of the iconic clubs in the South, as well as the once infamous State Palace Theatre under now powerhouse promoter Disco Donnie, Trenton honed his craft, constantly performing at events while soaking up every bit of music production and event marketing knowledge possible.  He would later meet Allison and, realizing that the two of them together equaled greater than the sum of their parts, made her his bride and studio partner, imparting to her everything he knew about music and the event industry.  Together, they scaled Tech D Productions into a titan of a company, known for its highly skilled stable of DJs, constant deployment of cutting-edge tech, and top-tier aesthetics.  For the last decade, they have been on an ever-growing arc, their team either producing or performing at over 250 events a year.

On stage, AeFx is known for high-energy DJ sets full of fun uplifting music that go in tandem with a variety of lights, lasers, visuals, and practical effects all manipulated from the duo on stage in real-time.  You can expect these two, and Tech D Productions, to continue trending upward.
